Continuo shares one keyboard, mouse and clipboard across Macs on the same network. It is not screen sharing: every Mac keeps showing its own screen.
Setup runs to three steps and takes under a minute.
1. Install it on each Mac
Download Continuo from usecontinuo.app/download, open the DMG, and drag it into Applications on each Mac you want to use. Pick Apple Silicon, Intel, or Universal to match your hardware. Continuo has to be running on both ends: there is no host and no client, and nothing to nominate as the main machine.
On first launch it explains three core permissions. Granting them is what lets it deliver keystrokes and pointer movement as native macOS events rather than forwarding a stream. A fourth row offers optional Location access so the menu bar can show Wi-Fi network names; you can skip it and input sharing still works.

2. Pair with three words
Both Macs find each other over Bonjour on your local network. There is nothing to type in: no IP addresses, no port numbers, no accounts.
When they meet, each screen shows the same three words. Check that the words match on both, then choose They match, Pair. The words change every time you pair, and matching them is what proves you are pairing with the Mac in front of you rather than something else on the network.
Once paired, they stay paired. Waking a Mac or rejoining the network does not start this over.
3. Arrange the screens
Open Settings → Macs or Arrange displays from the menu bar panel. Drag each Mac cluster until it sits where the real machine sits on your desk. The edges follow: push the cursor off the right of the Mac on your left, and it lands on the Mac to its right.
That is the whole of it. From here the keyboard, the mouse and the clipboard follow the cursor.
Requirements
- macOS 15 or newer on every Mac.
- All the Macs on the same Wi-Fi or Ethernet network.
- No shared Apple ID, and no account of any kind.
