Version 26.9.28-beta-392
Your Macs now remember how they were arranged for each set of screens, so closing a lid or unplugging a monitor no longer costs you the layout.
Added
- Continuo remembers how your Macs were arranged for each combination of screens. Close a lid, unplug a monitor or plug it back in, and the arrangement you last used with those screens comes back on its own. You arrange each combination once, by dragging in Arrange displays or pressing Fix layout, and never again.
Changed
- The menu bar now shows just the Continuo icon by default. Turn on "Show Mac name next to icon" in Settings › General if you want the other Mac's name spelled out beside it.
- The "Copied" flash for Select to Copy is now on by default, so you always see when your clipboard changes. You can still turn it off in Settings › Copy on Select.
- "Skip when editing" in Settings › Copy on Select is now called "Skip editable text", which says what it does.
Fixed
- Select to Copy no longer replaces your clipboard when you select text you're editing — in a note, an email draft, a message box — with "Skip editable text" on (Settings › Copy on Select). Selecting text you're reading (web pages, Terminal) still copies it.
- Select to Copy no longer copies an old selection again when you drag a window, a scrollbar, or the selected text itself.
- Select to Copy works in Terminal right after you run a command, and typing in one app no longer stops it in another.
- Files with accented names (Vietnamese, French, and other languages) dragged to another Mac can be dropped into Terminal, editors, and chat apps again, not just Finder.
- Opening a MacBook's lid while it's connected to an external display no longer moves that Mac's screens away from the other Macs in Arrange displays. The pointer keeps crossing, and shutting the lid again changes nothing.
- Fix layout now lines this Mac's screen up along the whole edge of the Mac beside it, instead of leaving it hanging off a corner.

- Skipping an update now clears it from the menu bar, and closing the update window after a download leaves a "Restart now" option there.
